Here is what to expect, start to finish.
A bridge replaces a missing tooth by attaching to the teeth on either side. It stays in, so you never take it out.
A gap makes chewing harder, and over time nearby teeth can drift or tilt into the open space.
We numb the area first. You will feel pressure, but you should not feel pain.
The teeth on each side are gently reshaped so crowns can fit over them.
A digital scan or impression captures your teeth and bite so the bridge fits exactly.
A temporary bridge covers the teeth while your permanent one is made.
Your bridge is checked for fit, bite, and color, then cemented onto the anchor teeth.
Brush twice a day, and clean under the false tooth daily with a floss threader or water flosser.
Your dental team is happy to walk you through every step before, during, and after your visit.
