Clayton Cook was born and raised in Cache Valley, Utah, and comes from a large family – he is the 5th of 6 children. Growing up, Dr. Cook spent many hours in his father’s podiatry office cleaning rooms, stocking cupboards, and – when his dad wasn’t looking – playing with equipment. Consequently, Dr. Cook discovered his fascination with the medical world at a very young age.
Dr. Cook met his best friend, Kallee, now his wife, in 9th grade. After graduating from high school, he worked in the Dallas area for a short time and fell in love with Texas. He left Texas to serve a Christian mission in Hiroshima, Japan. Shortly after returning, he married his wife, and they’ve been married for 8 years and have 4 beautiful children.
Dr. Cook graduated from Utah State University, majoring in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Japanese. He attended dental school at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.
In his spare time, Dr. Cook enjoys hiking, playing sports of all kinds, reading, challenging his wife to a game of scrabble, and giving his kids “Wild Buckin’ Bronco” rides in the family’s front room. He’s always wanted to make it back to Texas and is so excited to be in Glen Rose.
Eric Dunaway grew up in Boulder County, Colorado as the oldest of four children. After serving a Christian mission in northern Spain, Dr. Dunaway attended Brigham Young University- Idaho where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology. While studying there, he also met his best friend and wife, Lydia, a native of Mansfield, Texas. They have been married for 5 years and have 2 adorable little ones.
Dr. Dunaway earned his DMD degree at Case School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Afterward, he and Lydia took the opportunity to live close to family by moving to Texas. They have happily watched their children build relationships with a large group of cousins.
Outside of work, Dr. Dunaway enjoys running around with his kids at the park, or at home. He also loves spending time with his wife, playing board games, and finding whatever food is just done better in Texas.

Rosa joined our team in 2018. She has been a dental assistant since 201, and loves building relationships with patients, and attentively addressing any questions or concerns. She loves to make people laugh, and her goal is to give patients an exceptional experience in our office.
Rosa lives in Walnut Springs with her husband, and the two welcomed their baby boy, Ezekiel, in 2019. In her spare time, Rosa loves working out, crafting, and enjoys being a mom to her son.

Ashli grew up and attended elementary school in the community of Three-Way and went to Hico ISD for Jr. High and high school where she played basketball and ran track. After high school, she moved to Cleveland, Ohio, and became a flight attendant. After flying all over the country, she worked at nuclear power plants in the United States. She married her Husband, Rhody, in 2013 and the two welcomed their two children in 2014, and in 2017.
She attended dental hygiene school at Tyler Junior College and graduated in 2021. Ashli loves to laugh and joke. She also loves to sit outside and watch the sun go down and read a good book. Ashli is very eager to help patients with their dental needs.

Zoee joined Polished as an assistant in December 2021. She grew up and still lives in Glen Rose! Zoee went to school in Glen Rose from pre-k through 12th grade. She graduated Glen Rose High School in May of 2021 as an honors graduate! When Zoee is not working at the office, she is teaching gymnastics and cheer at Starry Skye Training Center. She has taught kids there for over 6 years!
In her free time, Zoee loves spending time with friends, family, and her best friend, Tiger, her cat! Zoee loves and enjoys working in the dental field! Her favorite part of the day is meeting all of the new smiling faces that come into our office!

Shelley grew up in Texarkana,Texas, and moved to the DFW area in 2005. She spends her free time with her loving husband and two cute fur babies. She has two adult children who are her everything. Shelley started her dental career as an orthodontic assistant in 2009. She soon moved to Orthodontic Team Leader and Treatment Coordinator for an orthodontic office in North Fort Worth. Shelley became a Polished Team Member in 2021 when she moved to this beautiful area. Outside of work, Shelley enjoys traveling. She especially loves cruises and has been on 12 to date!
Melanie is a dental assistant at Polished Family Dental. Her goal is to help patients by answering any questions about their dental care, scheduling appointments, and finding suitable financial options for dental treatment. She has been a registered dental assistant since 2011 and has worked for Polished Family Dental since 2016. She is committed to giving patients a positive experience in a warm inviting atmosphere. Melanie lives in Joshua, TX with her husband and two daughters. She loves photography, hiking, and spending time with her family.
