Gum Disease Treatment in Fort Worth, TX
Bleeding or puffy gums are an early sign of gum disease, and it's very treatable when caught early.

What it is
Gum disease treatment at Polished Family Dental in Fort Worth
Gum disease starts as gingivitis: red, swollen gums that bleed when you brush. Left alone, it can become periodontitis, which damages the bone that holds your teeth. Treatment ranges from better home care to a deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) below the gumline.
At our Fort Worth office on 7540 S Hulen St, Dr. Clayton Cook, Dr. Jeremy Pope, Dr. Glen Petta and Dr. Krystal Moore provide gum disease treatment for patients from Southwest Fort Worth, Wedgwood, Hulen, Candleridge and nearby.

Questions
Common questions
Is gum disease reversible?
Gingivitis usually is, with a cleaning and good home care. Periodontitis can be controlled, but bone that's lost doesn't grow back on its own.
Is a deep cleaning painful?
We numb the area, so most people are comfortable. Gums may be tender for a day or two.
Does the membership plan cover gum disease?
The Polished Membership Plan is for patients without gum disease. We'll recommend the right care and go over costs first.
