A crown covers and protects a weak tooth. A bridge fills the gap where a tooth is missing.

What it is
Crowns & bridges at Polished Family Dental in Fort Worth
A crown is a tooth-shaped cap that covers a tooth that's cracked, badly decayed or has had a root canal. A bridge uses crowns on the teeth beside a gap to hold a replacement tooth in place.
At our Fort Worth office on 7540 S Hulen St, Dr. Clayton Cook, Dr. Jeremy Pope, Dr. Glen Petta and Dr. Krystal Moore provide crowns & bridges for patients from Southwest Fort Worth, Wedgwood, Hulen, Candleridge and nearby.

Questions
Common questions
How long does a crown last?
With good brushing, flossing and checkups, crowns often last many years. Grinding and hard foods can shorten that.
Crown or implant for a missing tooth?
Both can work well. We'll look at the teeth around the gap, your bone and your budget, and go over the options with you.
Do veterans with a VA referral get crowns?
Crowns are among the services we provide to veterans referred by the VA. Ask your VA provider for a referral to our office.
