1. Here's what to expect with clear aligners.
2. Clear aligners are a nearly invisible way to straighten your teeth. They can fix crowding, gaps, and many bite problems.
3. First, a digital scan maps your teeth, and we plan every movement. You may even get to preview your new smile before you begin.
4. Next, you'll receive a series of custom clear trays. Each one moves your teeth a little at a time.
5. For the best results, wear your trays twenty to twenty-two hours a day. Take them out only to eat, and to drink anything other than water.
6. Every week or two, you'll switch to the next set of trays, and we'll check your progress along the way.
7. Treatment time varies. Many cases take about a year, and simpler ones can be faster.
8. When you're done, a retainer keeps your teeth in their new position. Brush before putting your trays back in, clean them every day, and wear your retainer as directed.
