3. Filling the gap matters. Gaps make chewing harder, and over time, nearby teeth can drift or tilt into the open space.
4. First, we take impressions or a digital scan, so your partial is made to fit your mouth precisely.
5. Your partial has natural-looking teeth on a gum-colored base, with small clasps that hold it in place.
6. Those clasps hug your natural teeth near the gum line, keeping the partial steady while you eat and talk.
7. It may feel a little bulky at first, but most people get used to it within a few weeks.
8. Take it out and clean it every day, take it out at night, and keep brushing your natural teeth too. And keep up with your regular checkups.
